The Society, Incorporated, is a distinguished organization founded in May 1983 by Celeste Burton, Darvetta Madison, Dorothy Paxton, and Myrtle Roane. Their shared vision and compassion led to the creation of a community of professional women dedicated to friendship, service, and the nurturing of young talent in the arts.
The core focus of our Society chapters throughout the United States is to support exceptionally talented youth in the arts. We are committed to providing them with the necessary resources and opportunities to enhance their appreciation for artistic expression. We aim to foster creativity not only in the young individuals we serve but also within the broader artistic community.
To showcase the incredible talent within our local communities, we organize engaging events such as showcases that shine a spotlight on young artists. Additionally, we host various activities including Friendship Teas, Awards Ceremonies, receptions for artists, and master classes offered to students.
